In a sunny and serene 18th-century Naples, both subservient and sovereign, the elderly castrato Caffarelli rediscovers the root of his pain, buried in a deliberately forgotten past that he can no longer hide from himself. During an extraordinary adventure between reality and dream, in contact with mysterious forces that animate the Neapolitan night with shadows and ghosts, a violent vision will appear before him in a completely unimaginable way that will surprise him.
