This volume brings together analyses by architects, sociologists, and historians on two specific areas of the city of Naples: the "Historic Center" and the "San Giovanni a Teduccio" neighborhood. These reflections are the product of field research conducted as part of the project "Memory, Resilience, Quality of Life. Risk Perception and Individual and Collective Response Strategies in Local Contexts," a specific strand of analysis within the broader research project "METRICS - Methodologies and Technologies for the Management and Redevelopment of Historic Centers and Prestigious Buildings," sponsored by the University of Naples Federico II. The volume explores the variety and complexity of Naples' urban fabric through a focus on several case studies that explore the city and its relationship with its inhabitants.
