Published in 1936, this eulogy of Salvatore di Giacomo is among the most striking prose works by Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, a tireless avant-garde figure. Marinetti believed that the great Neapolitan poet, considered a voice of tradition, was actually capable of giving "young people a Futurist lesson of tireless march toward the conquest of the new."
