Breve nota di quel che si vede in casa di Raimondo di Sangro principe di Sansevero

A small and rare guide to understanding the work of the great alchemist Prince. When he visited Naples, the Marquis de Sade found this pamphlet for sale at the entrance to Palazzo Sansevero, perhaps to "celebrate the talent of the deceased." Indeed, the "Brief Note," first published in 1766, was certainly commissioned, or even written, by Raimondo Di Sangro himself. The original text, framed by period ornaments, is accompanied by the "news" of the invention of the "Marine Carriage"; a bibliography of the Prince's published and unpublished works; and a drawing of the Sansevero Chapel by Giuseppe Carelli, executed in 1862 for the Sommer photographic studio.
