Since the 1970s, he has worked for the leading automotive company in Southern Italy – Alfasud – and was a union leader for metalworkers and then for the Chamber of Labor of Naples. After his experiences in the Lega delle Cooperative and UIL Campania (where he directed the research office and the training sector), he specialized in local finance and was a manager at the Municipality of Naples as well as a councilor in some municipalities in the province.
