A Capuchin nun, she is the abbess of the Monastery of Santa Maria in Gerusalemme in Naples. With a degree in Modern Literature, she entered the monastery in 1990 and, as vice-postulator, oversaw the cause for beatification of its founder, Maria Lorenza Longo. She has also been involved for years in the restoration and redevelopment of part of the ancient Neapolitan monastery, expropriated under the subversive laws of 1863.
